The Cattlemen’s Martin Riedemann Society administers a charity created in 2015 to support education and research awards on behalf of the ranching industry.
These bursaries and grants are funded through monies raised at the Annual General Meeting silent and live auction fundraiser. Money raised at this event enables the cattle industry to foster post secondary education and give back to ranching communities, supporting:

The Brigadier W.N. Bostock Memorial Research Grant (up to two - $2,000) is awarded to successful applicants as recommended by the BC Cattlemen’s Association. The purpose of the Brigadier W.N. Bostock Memorial Research Grant is to assist research which will be of practical value to the beef cattle industry in British Columbia. This grant was renamed in 1971 in honour of William N. Bostock for his dedicated service to the BC beef cattle industry.
The BC Cattlemen's Association and Beef in BC Magazine will provide bursary, scholarship and grant winners with a one-year subscription to our industry magazine to promote interest and understanding of British Columbia's beef industry.

- The BC Cattlemen's Association Bursaries
- The Martin Riedemann Bursary was established in 1975 in honour of Martin Riedemann of Alkali Lake Ranch who passed away in a boating accident at the lake. At the time of his passing, Martin Riedemann was Vice-President of the BC Cattlemen's Association.

- The Rob Starr Memorial Bursary is provided by friends and family of Rob Starr, who operated Miocene Simmentals and was a long-time supporter of the 4-H movement and the ranching industry in BC
- The Criterion Capital Group, RBC Dominion Securities (Kamloops) funds a bursary in their name
- Pinantan Pemberton Livestock Association Bursary (School District 73), established in 2019 with funds from the Pinantan Pemberton Livestock Association
- The Bostock and Fallis Families Bursary is supported by the Bostock and Fallis Families of Monte Creek Heritage Fund at the BC Interior Community Foundation
- The Gung Loy Jim Scholarship is funded by the Jim Family of Little Fort, BC in their father's memory.
- *New 2022 – The Valene and Wayne Everett bursary provided the Everett family beginning in 2020 to help further the legacy of Valene and Wayne who ranched in the Monte Lake area from 1967-1989 and were innovators to further ranching in BC.
